In 1998 Quantum Hard Disk Drives implemented a corporate branding campaign to position itself as the disk supplier that provides businesses with "non-stop business solutions." The client had a limited budget but wanted to create awareness amongst end-users, IT managers, procurement managers, the investment community and OEM's to drive demand for its external storage devices and internal hard disk drives.

Barrett Marketing was asked to help develop a corporate branding campaign that would help raise unaided awareness of the company and its attributes while generating leads for the sales force. Working with Ziff-Davis publishing, we were able to create a marketing campaign that included print, online, events and custom publishing that targeted the aforementioned target audiences.

The marketing programs generated 152,000+ new leads (73.8% of which were deemed to be "A" leads) in the first 3 months of the campaign and unaided awareness of Quantum HDD increased 47% in the first 60 days of the program.
