Fusion DM (formerly Times Direct Marketing, Inc.) is a San Francisco-based direct marketing agency that specializes in the development and implementation of on-line marketing programs for high tech companies in the Silicon Valley. Fusion DM's clients include 3Com, eBay, Hewlett-Packard, Netscape, Sun Microsystems, IBM, Peoplesoft, Pointcast and Symantec. Each of these companies sells products and services that enable organizations or individuals to deliver information or conduct business via the web. Ironically, each company was hesitant to use the same medium that they helped create to sell their own products and services.
After several years and several self-funded online marketing programs, Fusion DM convinced a few clients to use the web as a direct marketing vehicle. Barrett Marketing was hired to create and implement a public relations campaign to communicate the results of Fusion DM's research and investment.
