Barrett Marketing charges clients in one of three ways:
| |
RETAINER
Billed monthly in advance, this method is suitable for work that requires regular marketing and corporate communications support over a period of six months or longer. Disbursements are billed monthly in arrears, at cost. Expenses are subject to a pre-agreed limit and will only be exceeded with the written permission of the client. |
| |
| |
PROJECT
For finite programs that are easily defined and which can be completed in less than six months. Project work is billed 50 percent in advance, 30 percent at the halfway point, and 20 percent upon delivery to the client. Expenses are agreed in advance, but are subject to change if the client changes the parameters of the project. |
| |
| |
HOURLY BILLING
This option is best suited to clients who have very specific requests or very short-term programs. Clients will be billed in advance, for a specified number of hours. As these pre-paid hours approach completion new invoices will be issued to cover projected demand. |
| |
| |
DISBURSEMENTS
Phone, fax, copying, printing, research, travel and other disbursements will be billed monthly in arrears and at cost. A limit for disbursements will be agreed at the start of all work. This will be exceeded only with the written approval of the client.
Should airline travel be necessary, Barrett Marketing representatives fly coach class for domestic travel and business class for international flights. |
